About The Play
The Hunting of the Snark
Written by Camille Pavlenko, Adapted from the Poem by Lewis Carroll
An unlikely and utterly ridiculous crew of nine explorers set sail on a quest to hunt and capture the mythical creature known as the Snark. There’s only one problem: nobody knows what a Snark looks like or how to capture it. The Bellman, the Boots, the Barrister, the Broker, the Banker, the Butcher, the Beaver, and Hi-Hello (the one who has forgotten his name) will have to work together to avoid the clutches of the Jubjub Bird, the Bandersnatch, and the Jabberwocky and capture the Snark before something even worse captures them.
From the brilliant imagination of Lewis Carroll (Alice in Wonderland) and the theatrical genius of Camille Pavlenko (Real Boi) comes this brand new and fantastically wacky world premiere adaptation of the classic poem.
