Marlo Hepburn

About Marlo

Raised in Calgary, a graduate of Ambrose University, Marlo Hepburn is a multidisciplinary artist who enjoys the process of art-making just as much as the presentation and performance of it. They believe the joy of creating does not have to be sacrificed to pursue excellence in art, and in fact, should be prioritized. Marlo has worked in a variety of roles with Baker Miller Pink, Calgary Young People’s Theatre, Corps Bara Dance Theatre, Fire Exit Theatre, Sunflower Collective Theatre, and Lunchbox Theatre. They have appeared on stage as Calgary’s sweetheart Marlo the Raccoon at the High Performance Rodeo, IGNITE! Festival, and Common Ground Festival. Whatever their role – actor, dancer, playwright, movement dramaturg, or stage manager – Marlo is just happy to be here. They are earnestly silly, unfailingly whimsical, and constantly in awe. They are also a co-founder of Three Cheese Institute.
