December’s YP of the Month is…

Miles Chan!!!

Though Miles’s journey with CYPT has been rather short and started only very recently, Miles is no stranger to the stage having performed in dramatic plays, Shakespearean plays and musicals. Miles’s journey with CYPT started in January 2024 when he was cast in The Inner Workings of a Concert Flute in which he plays Zac, a band kid stuck in a cave, waiting for his impending death. He returned as George, a death row prisoner waiting for his impending death, in Solitary as part of the Cannonball Festival 2024. Next off, he played the Prince, the Nurse and as part of the ensemble, the Monster in A Monster Calls, finally not waiting for his impending death. 

He is excited to be returning to the realm of comedy as he currently has a role in Dear Santa as Santa’s uptight chief of staff Algernon Gladstone, where he fortunately will not be waiting for an impending death. (Spoiler alert!)

Miles is an avid performer of the arts and indulges in performing on stage. When he’s not acting, you may find him singing, playing the violin or binge-watching movies. He would like to thank his family for their continuous support. He would also like to thank the wonderful people he’s met at CYPT. He is thrilled to have been a part of CYPT and hopes to continue his journey with them in the future.
