Hannah Fisher is a Prairie designer, visual storyteller and creator whose work spans performance mediums such as dance, circus, drag and theatre. Heavily influenced by nature memoir writing, the idea of smallness, and the residual grit of body and memory, her work explores the sensibilities between color, texture and form. Hannah’s artistic voice grew from a background of visual art at Emily Carr University of Art and Design (2016) and the National Theatre School of Canada (2019) Costume and Set Design program. She continues to push the way she understands the responsibilities of being a maker, leaning into craft and up-cycling practices as pillars of her creative process.
