October YP of the Month

We are just days away from the opening night of our first fall production, Love and Information! This show is full of many of our most experienced actors, including our October YP of the Month who is full of both love and information.

This young woman is always a ray of sunshine and a bucket of smiles, and we have so enjoyed watching her grow as an artist and performer over the years. She creates an environment of positivity, inclusivity, and absolute unbridled whimsy. We adore her and know you will too.

And who is this magnificently marvelous master of merriment and mirth? October’s YP of the Month is…

Vicky Pablo!!!

Vicky should start at the beginning. AHEM. Once upon a time, there was nothing. Then, a lot later, a gremlin was born who went by the name of Vicky Pablo. Now you’re up to speed. In the year of 2016, a little, nervous, 4’11 girl walked into the Unitarian Church of Calgary hoping to become a part of the widely-renowned CYPT family. Vicky always adored those who she saw up onstage and after seeing CYPT’s production of The Three Musketeers, she decided that she MUST be part of that one day.

She auditioned over and over again until she finally became a part of The Wolves (October 2018) as #46. She didn’t know what to expect, but the love and relationships she found at CYPT were much better than she would have imagined. She also discovered her love for working backstage after stage managing the Cannonball production of 2012 (2019). CYPT gave Vicky the chance to stop wishing she could be onstage to actually doing it.

Although she didn’t grow physically, she grew inside. Come see our short gremlin in her upcoming show Love and Information (2019) eat a lot onstage and the Outpatient play Runs In The Family (2020) as Mallory!

Also, Vicky has officially declared herself as the EP of the month (elderly person) as she is now an 18 year old grandma. So jot that down. Thanks!

“Never stop doing the things you love!”
