Parker Painchaud is 15 years old and has just begun his high school journey in Central Memorial’s PVA program. Most recently, he took to the stage in Kensuke’s Kingdom (Storybook Theatre, 2025) as Young Michael, a role that earned him the Calgary Critics Award for Extraordinary Work by an Emerging Artist.

In 2023 and 2024, Parker spent the holiday season as Peter Cratchit in Theatre Calgary’s A Christmas Carol. He has also appeared in numerous CYPT mainstage shows, including The Frozen Deep (2024), Someday (2023), The Poison Squad (2023), and Real Boi (2022). Beyond performing, Parker has explored playwriting, debuting his original work The Ghost of Who Knows What in the Cannonball Festival (2024). He’s now looking forward to stepping into the world of Shakespeare, taking on the challenge of Romeo and a little “teenage drama” in his first Shakespeare production.
