As the lead trumpet in both the Alberta Jazz Ensemble and Central Memorial Jazz Ensemble, Carson is always pushing his own limits while sharing his passion for music. He has had the privilege of studying under accomplished mentors like Aisling Tonne, Adam Mailman, Richard Scholz, and Andre Wickenheiser, among others. Looking ahead, he is excited about future opportunities, particularly his goal of joining MacEwan University’s Jazz Ensemble and pursuing a degree in jazz performance. For Carson, music is a shared experience, and he hopes each performance deepens the connection with his audience.
