Abby Weeks is a Calgary Theatre Artist who has been working with CYPT since she was 5 years old. Growing up a Summer Camp kid, she turned to CYPT mainstage in high school, with productions like Wooers’ Woods, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Richard III. In the Outpatient Collective’s second year, Abby co-wrote Atlantis. Abby has a BA in Drama from the University of Alberta, and has taught Camps and Classes with CYPT for the past five years, which she loves! She enjoys working with kids and turning their unique ideas into theatrical realities. It is because of CYPT that Abby has developed a love for Shakespeare and diverse forms of performance and story-telling. She is excited to be assistant-directing CYPT’s Much Ado About Nothing, this fall.
