How your donation helps
Ever wonder how much it costs to put on a play?
Hint: It’s a lot.
From props to set, costumes to programs, rehearsal space rental to the theatre itself, production costs add up quickly. Here at CYPT, we do our best to keep production costs down to ensure ticket prices and program fees remain as accessible as possible, but even the most thrifty show can cost many tens of thousands of dollars.
If you value the opportunity CYPT offers young people, we hope you will consider donating in person or online today!
CYPT is a CRA registered charity and provincially-incorporated not-for-profit society. We fund our work through a combination of ticket sales, government grants, program fees, and individual donations.

Volunteer for Us!
CYPT is seeking volunteers to help run our front of house! We ask that volunteers be age 18+ if possible, but other than that, all training will be provided on site. For this show, we are seeking one front of house role for volunteers:
- Concession sales/usher
The volunteer gets to see the show for free on the shift they volunteer. Please arrive 45 minutes before showtime (6:15pm for a 7:00pm show or 1:15pm for a 2:00pm show).
We are also seeking volunteers to help us unload the set from the theatre the day after we close on December 15th, 2024 at around 11:00am. Strong hands welcome, as well as anyone willing to help out.
