Michaela is a CYPT alumna and active member of the Calgary theatre community. Since graduating from the National Theatre School in 2016, Michaela has split her time between a growing playwriting practice and different arts administration roles with arts organizations across the country – currently she’s working full time for Calgary’s Arts Commons. Michaela has been a member of the CYPT board for nearly ten years and in that time has seen a host of really incredible CYPT productions. Some favourites include: The Wolves, Love and Information, and Unity 1918. In addition to theatre, Michaela loves the backwoods, trashy mystery novels, espresso, and spending her Friday nights playing Dungeons & Dragons with long-time friends scattered across several time zones.
