He Literally Wrote the Book
Congrats to CYPT instructor and director Mike Griffin on his chapter in the upcoming publication of The Routledge Companion to Commedia dell’Arte, coming November 15th!
As many of our performers know, Commedia is a style of comedy that uses mask, heightened physicality, and slapstick humor to tell some ridiculous stories. Our 2013/14 production and remount of The Wooers Woods, pictured to the right, was our most recent Commedia show here at CYPT.
Mike is regular class instructor here at CYPT. He also directed our 2014 production of The Curse of the House of Atreus and our 2013/14 productions of The Wooers Woods.
