About The Play

He Leaves No Trace

Written by Noah Boyle and Ben Gaudet

On the night of August 29, 2021 at 2:37am a young man disappeared at West Village Theatre.

He hasn’t been seen since.

There has been much speculation, accusation, and theory surrounding the disappearance, all of which I believe to be false. I’d like to invite you now to join me this evening to perform a ritual to communicate with and potentially retrieve this young man from the plains beyond the astral sea.

May Anu protect us all.

He Leaves No Trace is a playfully chilling and immersive theatrical experience that explores where we go when we disappear into ourselves.

All performances of He Leaves No Trace take place at West Village Theatre. All guests are required to be fully vaccinated and masked, and must show proof of vaccination and government issued ID upon check-in. The performance space has been physically distanced for additional comfort. Limited audience capacity.

ABOUT THE MIND THE GAP COLLECTIVE

Calgary Young People’s Theatre is always looking for ways to invest in the artistic futures of our alumni.  In 2021, we had an extra couple of weeks in our theatre, and we wanted to use that to support a few of our alumni who are bridging the gap into their professional careers by providing that space, some rehearsal space, technical support, and any mentorship that might be of use.  This year’s Mind the Gap Collective includes Ben Gaudet, Vicky Pablo, and Noah Boyle.  We are happy to support them in this production.

All ticket sales will go to the artists in the collective.
