The leaves have turned, the clocks have turned back an hour, and it’s time to celebrate another spectacular youth performer! Coming up, she’ll be staring in our Christmas show, but she’s graced our stage several times before. We give you:
Kaydence Gauthier!!!
Kaydence discovered CYPT through a friend only a year ago when she auditioned for Cannonball in 2024. Since debuting in the 2024 Cannonball show beached., playing a mean southern boss, she has been hooked on CYPT. She then continued on to play Derek Dent in the 2025 Outpatient Collective production, The Smoking Gun. Kaydence is now starring in her first-ever lead role as Damian Alastair in Mrs. Pemberschmidt’s Grade Twos Proudly Present: A Christmas Carol. She is beyond grateful to everyone at CYPT for being such amazing human beings. To the friends she has made there, she gives her sincere thanks — they have seen her through many highs and many very low moments in her life, and she is deeply grateful to have them to hold her up, encourage her to keep going, and always provide her with a loud giggle. To the directors, stage managers, choreographers, and every adult at CYPT, she extends her heartfelt gratitude for their continued passion and dedication to the craft. Their love for the arts drives her to keep dreaming and creating, and their expertise and enthusiasm inspire her daily. CYPT has motivated Kaydence to pursue her passion in the performing arts after graduation, and she is excited to see what the world of art has to teach and offer her.
“A dream is never too far away if you can already see it in your mind.”
