August’s YP of the Month is…

Harley Fielding!!!

Harley began her CYPT journey at the ripe old age of four attending her first summer camp and has attending camp every summer since.  She was hooked and started taking CYPT classes and, when she was old enough, auditioned for her first show.   Her first role was part of the Ensemble in REAL BOI (2022).  During this show she became interested in the technical side of things and had a great opportunity to step into that wonderful world as part of the Props Team for THE POISON SQUAD (2023). Harley completely fell in love with it, and worked on crew for both CANNONBALL! 2023 (ASM and Publicity) and CLUE JR. (2023) (Props and Publicity). That fall, she dived back into acting as part of the Performance Ensemble for SOMEDAY (2023).  That winter she also was part of the CYPT Performance Ensemble for the WAX MUSEUM ALGORITHM at the High Performance Rodeo (2024). Most recently, Harley played the role of EMILY in the touring show SASQUATCH SALLY this past May. Currently, she is back behind the scenes as an ASM for A MONSTER CALLS (2024).

She is eternally grateful to CYPT for all the opportunities she’s had, the people she’s met, and everyone that has supported her.   The CYPT community and theatre has become such a large part of her life and will continue to be, as she is starting the theatre/tech theatre PVA program at Central Memorial this fall.
