December’s YP of the Month is…

Aurora Howlett!!!

Aurora has been a part of the CYPT family since 2022, which doesn’t feel long enough to have encapsulated all the wonderful memories and moments she has had. She started her theatre journey acting in [stop.] as part of the 2022 Cannonball! Festival. Having fallen completely in love with the experience, she acted again in A Little Princess, where she was introduced to a new side of theatre: Stage Management. Aurora, of course, decided she had to try it. She Assistant Stage Managed two main stage shows: Real Boi, and Clue, as well as Stage Managing Serendipity for the 2023 Cannonball! Festival. She adored those experiences so much that it is currently what she plans on going to university for. After taking a break from acting to explore her new passion, she decided to jump back in and is currently acting in Whimsy. 

Aurora is forever grateful for all the friends she has made; the people who taught and continue to teach her every day about loving life and theatre. She loves CYPT so much and will never be able to repay all the wonderful things it has done for her and so many other people. She is honoured to say that this is home, and that she wouldn’t want to be anywhere else right now.
