Jamie is thrilled to be a permanent fixture here at CYPT. A prairie girl at heart, Jamie is also the Artistic Director of Calgary’s Verb Theatre, where she has directed such productions as The Wolves, Lungs, The Shape of a Girl, NOISE, Marg Szkaluba, Jim Forgetting, and more! For CYPT, Jamie has been around since 2009, having directed Unity (1918), Macbeth, Village of Idiots, Richard III, The Lost Prince, A Little Princess, The Bridge, The Man in the Moon, and Warm Stories for Cold Nights. In Calgary, Jamie has directed for numerous theatre companies, including Deathtrap at Vertigo Theatre and The Tempest at The Shakespeare Company. Jamie spent 2013/14 in London as the Artistic Associate at The Grand Theatre, where she directed The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde, and is also a sessional instructor for the University of Lethbridge Department of Drama.
