We offer a healthy selection of hot lunches and snacks to keep your kids full of energy and stimulate their creativity. That means we don’t sell candy, pop or chips but fruit, veggies, granola bars and more. Ask us about our new and improved Fuel for fun menu and meal plans. Pay up front and never pack a lunch!
We offer pre-camp care from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. and post-camp care from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m. We do not offer post-care for the 1/2 day camp. All pre and post camp care is $3.00 per session per child. |

Superfun preschool heroes
1/2 day camps: preschoolers - grade 1
If you know a preschooler who is always performing, this is the perfect camp for them. With the help of books, games, and crafts young campers will learn about the arts in many ways. Join us at the end of camp for a special presentation of a superhero show created by the campers (with the help of a super instructor). Our focus is building confidence, creativity and social skills. Sign up soon as this program often sells out.
Preschool age 4 and up: 1/2-day camp, 9 a.m. to noon.

Superheroes: Superkids!
Full day, one-week camps
Ever wanted to leap buildings in a single bound, race a speeding bullet and defeat a super villain? That’s what CYPT has in store for its campers this summer. Campers will work with professional drama instructors to create short plays about ordinary people who develop extraordinary powers, all the while learning awesome acting skills.

Shakespeare and stage combat
Full day, two-week camps
In this two week camp, students get in touch with their inner bard, adapting a Shakespearian classic with modern flair. Forget prithee and forsooth, this is Shakespeare anyone can understand. Students learn about some of the greatest plays of all time through fun, games and professional acting exercises. As a special treat, students will draw their swords and learn about stage combat in a safe, fun atmosphere.
2 week camp, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., for grades 5-10

Birmingham exchange program

International exchange announcement
CYPT is teaming up with the Birmingham Reparatory Theatre in Birmingham England. This year English students will travel to Calgary to collaborate with our students and create an original piece of theatre. In the summer of 2011, twelve CYPT students will travel to Birmingham to participate in a similar program.
No previous experience is necessary, but commitment and a desire to learn from a professional are a must!
This is a two-year commitment and applicants will be required to cover some travel expenses. Visit www.cypt.ca for more details. Students must be aged 14 to 16 to be eligible for this exciting program.
