CYPT Announces New Partnership
South Summer Drama Camp Location Confirmed
Calgary Young People's Theatre and the Riverbend Community Association
are very excited to partner this summer to host the South Drama Camps
August 4-29, 2008. Both groups are excited to bring the camps to the
Riverbend Community Centre and make CYPT's programs accessible to
families residing in the South. It's a great central south location
at 19 Rivervalley Dr SE, just southeast of Deerfoot and Glenmore SE.
The Community Centre is located in the heart of Calgary's residential
south and backs onto a beautiful field and playground.
This summer will mark CYPT's 16th consecutive year of providing drama
camps to the youth of Calgary!
"Partnering with this community association is a fantastic
opportunity, for both organizations," says Mat Mailandt, Artistic
Director of CYPT. "Not only is the facility beautiful and perfectly
suited to our needs, it will provide the many families of the area
with a fun, safe and engaging camp for their kids this summer. We are
thrilled to be working with Riverbend to provide this opportunity for
Calgary's very creative youth!"
