CYPT presents Shakespeare's
Hamlet
August 16-18, 2007
Calgary Young People’s Theatre is proud to present the Summer Conservatory 2007 production of Hamlet. Veteran CYPT director Anton deGroot has adapted the Shakespeare classic into a production that moms, dads, and kids can enjoy!
Ten young artists perform Hamlet, a tragedy for the ages. The adaptation stays true to Shakespeare’s words and promises to delight and surprise audiences of all ages on the Lunchbox Theatre stage. “To be, or not to be” is always the question… The answer lies in Calgary Young People’s Theatre’s production of Hamlet!
“It’s really exciting to be back for my second year directing this great program.” says director Anton deGroot. “It’s truly amazing to see such young actors step up to the challenge of performing Shakespeare. Their energy and commitment is inspiring, and I am constantly surprised by the quality of their work.”
